NO two-day minimum on weekends. However, we do not accept single Saturday night stays.
We can accomodate a third person in either of our rooms with our Aero-Bed. There is a $25 per-night charge for this. |
Reservations, Cancellations and Children/Pets
- Reservations: can be made on line by going to the Room Availability page or by phone any day of the week between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. (413-585-8559 or toll free at 866-416-2753) Sugar Maple Trailside Inn accepts VISA, and MasterCard. We do not accept Discover or AMEX. A credit card number is neccessary to reserve a room and your deposit is equal to one night's lodging--or 1/2 if you are booking an extended stay. Check-in is after 4 p.m. Late night check-ins are no problem, but we do ask guests to call and let us know their approximate time of arrival. We'll confirm your reservation by U.S. Mail with a welcome letter and some brochures about the area.
- Cancellations: Two weeks notice is required to fully refund any deposit. If your reservation is cancelled less than14 days from your assigned dates your deposit will be refunded only if we are able to rebook the room(s). Same day Cancellations and no shows will be charged the full amount.
- Children and Pets: Well behaved children over the age of 10 are welcome. We strive to accomodate our guests, but smoking is not permitted anywhere on the grounds. We have one cat--Calvin, a double-pawed mischevious, but friendly cat. We also have a dog, a Scottish Terrier--Ivan. They rule the roost here and ask that you leave your pets at home. If you are allergic to cats--or dogs, rest assured that they are not allowed in the guest rooms and thus no allergens will be there.

Breakfast:
We serve an expanded continental breakfast. This consists of piping hot coffee and tea (decaf available) as well as a choice of various fresh juices, fresh baked bagels, muffins, and scones. We also have various yogurts, fresh fruit and home-made granola to round out the start to your day. Breakfast is served on weekdays from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. while on weekends it is from 8:00 to 10:00.
For a traditional cooked breakfast we suggest the national icon--Miss Florence Diner-- which is only 200 yards from the Inn. This world famous institution has been totally restored in 2002, and it is certainly worth a visit. Guests at the Sugar Maple Trailside Inn get 10% off the price of their meal if you bring our special certificate with you. The special is not just for breakfast, but any time of the day. |
