RIDE OR WALK INTO TOWN
Head into downtown Northampton, or keep going across the Connecticut River toward Amherst. The trail is part of a growing route that will one day link Northampton to Boston.
BORROW A BIKE
We keep bikes for guests to use on the trail, and we're a League of American Bicyclists Bicycle Friendly Business.
COLLEGES NEARBY
We're the closest B&B to Smith College and central to UMass, Amherst, and Mount Holyoke.
Policies

Cancel at least 14 days ahead for a full deposit refund. Within 14 days, we refund the deposit only if we can rebook the room. Same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged in full.

Well-behaved children over 10 are welcome. Book both rooms and younger children are welcome too.

Thelma and Louise rule the roost, so please leave your pets at home. They never go into the guest rooms, so the rooms stay allergen-free.

No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property.

Being so close to Smith and the Five Colleges, these weekends book far ahead, sometimes years. We don't raise prices or require three nights; the usual two-night minimum applies. These bookings require full, non-refundable payment by check mailed to the inn. If you cancel, the room goes to the next guest on our waiting list and can't be passed to friends or family.

On occasion, we will help-out local non-profits doing a 'silent-auction'. We will donate a two-night, weekend stay for two-couples. The donated package will include a guided tour of the trail network here, and lunch at a restaurant near the trail.
